How to Play
Two Tag Touch (T3) Rugby is a simple game that anyone can play at any age. Below is everything you need to know to get up an running quickly - or you can download the full Law Book here!
Just Score
The point of T3Rugby is to score more points than the other team. You do this while holding onto the ball by touching it to the ground on or beyond the other team's goal line.

In the T3Rugby Cup, everyone on the team gets 1 point when someone scores, with the scorer getting an extra point.

Don't Pass Forward
You can pass the ball to anyone anyway you want - underhand, overhand, behind the back - so long as you don't throw the ball towards the goal line you are trying to score on.
No Blocking
You cannot block anyone who does not have the ball - nor catch a forward pass - so offensive players are "On Side" if they are behind their ball carrier.
Tag 'em Twice
To get the ball back, two different players must tag the same ball carrier before they pass the ball.

If a ball carrier receives one tag, that player cannot score until they pass the ball. If the ball carrier passes before getting tagged a second time, the number of tags resets to zero.

It's really just that simple.
Referees are there to help everyone play safely and fairly. It is common for referees to explain the rules and any calls they make as the game is going. If you stick to the basics, and come to have fun, you'll be up and running in no time!

Starting Play
To start play or after a score, the defense must be behind the halfway line, and the offense must be behind the goal line. Play begins when a ball carrier taps the ball with its foot.

After a turnover, the defense is "On Side" when they are on their own side of the ball.
